Spectating is watching other players play Agar.io through the website. To spectate, click "Spectate" in the options menu. You will not spawn, there is no minimap (except in Battle Royale) and your screen will be focused on the topmost cell on the leaderboard. If the leaderboard changes, the camera will move to the new leader. You are able to move the camera by pressing "Q" and using your cursor.

You can use Spectate for this troll trick:
- Go on Spectate mode
- Look for a team
- Wait until one teammate dies
- Name yourself the name of the eaten teammate
- Go to the living teammate - if you have a matching skin or that teammate had no skin, you will have impersonated that teammate, and the living teammate might be tricked into accepting you as their teammate!
